Salvia splendens “Solar Red” is an excellent-heat tolerant, compact variety, well suited to pack culture with excellent outdoor bedding and garden performance. “Solar Red” is very strong and does not easily fade under hot conditions. The deep flower color is complemented by dark green foliage.
The plants produce many compact spikes and do not stretch under hot conditions.
