Hybrid Marigold seed varieties.
Bodger produced a line of “Hedge” Marigolds in with different colors
These “Hedge” Marigolds were sold worldwide for landscaping purposes.
The most popular and best quality variety was called “The Gold Coins”
available in three colors, Sovereign Gold, Doubloon Yellow and Double Eagle
Orange.
These varieties also became popular in Asia for making garlands.
Unfortunately the female parents were very difficult to maintain, and these
heirloom varieties disappeared.
