Salvia - Our Asian Selection

Salvia is a very popular variety used in gardens and packs and has a wide range of colors. The spike shaped flower on green leaves gives a unique look to the garden. Easy to sow with a life cycle of 120 - 130 days. A preferred variety for pots, bedding and landscaping.

Salvias have 3 classes : Splendens, Farinacea and Coccinea. Splendens flowers are recommended for cooler conditions while Farinacea and Coccinea are more heat tolerant.

Sahara Red

A variety with tolerance to heat and humidity. Superior basal branching with compact bright red flower spikes on dark green leaves. Retains color throughout the season and has been tested as the best early sown field performer. Reliable production in 10 cm pots with good garden performance.
Plant Height: 35 cm.

Zeal Red

The earliest flowering and most compact red salvia available. Plants are highly uniform with deep green broad leaves. This selection is day length neutral with high seed quality.
Plant Height: 25 cm.

Mexicana

An outstanding tall garden performance variety with great big bushy plants. Spikes have an attractive red color with deep green leaves. A true winner for landscapers.
