Dianthus – An Asian Superstar

When it comes to pot and bedding plants, Dianthus is a true superstar. The unique flowers and plant habit gives Dianthus outstanding performance in the garden. With single and double flowers, Dianthus can be grown throughout the year making it the most suitable variety to mix with other seasonal flowers.

Dianthus is divided into 2 family types:

Valentino can be considered the double flowered “sister” of the Diana series. Like Blaze it is suitable for growing in pots and beds. Valentino combines a compact and branching plant habit with strong growth, producing vigorous and low growing plants in the garden.

The Valentino Series is early to flower and the plant is quickly covered with large Carnation like flowers for the rest of the season. The double flowers make the Valentino series all the more striking.
